Erectile dysfunction medicines seized in Glengormley

Large amounts of unlicensed medicines have been seized by Department of Health authorities throughout a search of a home in Glengormley.
A guy was talked to by department officers about illegally importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medicines via the web.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medicine offenses.
He will now be the subject of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was carried out by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, said: "It is important that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medicines can be dangerous.
"These types of being sold, typically online, have undergone no quality control and there can be no guarantee about their safety.
"You simply do not know what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More importantly, you do not know the impact drugs like this may have on your health."
